What happens to a photocopier at the end of its life?

We return the machine to our workshop facility where it is stripped down into the various metals and plastics. Then they go off to a local recycling facility.

How safe is my data on the photocopier's hard drive?

All photocopiers have the facility to format the hard drive either as you use it, or at the end of life. Many Sharp machines have military grade security features – call us on 01905 721400 for more information.

What happens to empty toner cartridges?

We have implemented a toner cartridge recycling scheme for all of our customers, with the option to opt out if required. As a member of the scheme all your used toner cartridges will be collected from your premises when we visit and then recycled for you.

Individual computers will be set up and tested for printing and scanning. If any laptops are not in the office this can be done remotely at a later date.

Is it possible to get a copy of my last invoice / statement?

Yes, we are always happy to discuss any account queries you may have or to issue duplicate invoices or statements. Please just give us a call on 01905 721400 or email hello@claritysolutions.co.uk

What happens to the used parts that engineers remove from photocopiers?

We bring them back to the office where they are sorted into aluminium and steel, and then are sent for recycling.

What happens to our printer or photocopier when the lease agreement ends?

Normally around 6 months before your lease ends we will contact you to discuss your options. Many customers decide to upgrade to a new machine with a new lease in which case we would collect the old machine and refurbish or recycle it. Alternatively you can retain your machine and we can transfer it on to a short-term in-house rental contract, reviewed annually, which can still be supported with our Service Agreement. Give us a call on 01905 721400 / 01452 699400 and we can advise you accordingly.
