The Olivetti Thermoscanner is a simple, non-contact, tablet based solution to detect whether people crossing your threshold are wearing a face mask (if this is required) and to record their skin temperature. It should be noted that this is not a scientific testing instrument for any form of illness. Ideal for environments where a lot of known people come on to the premises and you just need a basic monitoring system; factories, call centres, large offices and schools for example.
The Olivetti Thermoscanner minimises personal contact and acts as a non-confrontational reminder regarding face masks. In addition, it can also be linked to software to automatically grant access to the building via a security gate or door system if conditions are met.
Facial recognition can be set up for employees by pre-loading their images (with appropriate permissions) so this data can be recorded against each individual. If required, the information held on the device can be linked to software on a computer that enables visitors' images and data to be recorded, in line with GDPR guidelines.
